Adam Hall

Adam Hall is a writer-director in his final year of his MFA in film production at USC. Sudden Death! will be used as a calling card to hopefully get him work in Hollywood upon graduation.

Los Angeles has been overtaken by a virus known as Sudden Death Syndrome, a disease that causes its victim to die suddenly and has only one symptom... spontaneously breaking into well-choreographed song and dance.

Sudden Death! is a 19-minute musical-comedy shot on location in Los Angeles, California in December 2009. The film is writer-director Adam Hall’s MFA thesis ﬁlm for the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

After a fatal disease that causes people to spontaneously break into song and dance is released in Los Angeles, Nathan Carlson - a scientist who’s developed a “love drug” - is caught in a life and death struggle… literally. Nathan must race against time to find a cure and save the city – fighting government corruption, discovering true love and randomly breaking into song along the way.
